Accommodation
Balule Private Camp is a small, rustic accommodation in the heart of Kruger National Park. As no electricity is provided at Balule Camp, paraffin lamps create a romantic atmosphere at night.
There are no shop or restaurant facilities available at the camp but a shop, restaurant and fuel station can be found at Olifants Camp about 11km (6.8 miles) to the north. Balule Camp is divided into 2 kinds of Kruger Park accommodation: a camping site for caravans/ tents and rustic huts.
Camping Site
There are 15 sites for caravans and tents available without power points, as no electricity is provided at the camp.
Hut
Balule Camp comprises of 6 rustic huts with 3 beds each and communal ablution facilities. Each hut provides linen, towels and a ceiling-fan. Please note that the huts have no window, only vents. The communal kitchen does not provide any cooking utensils as well as crockery or cutlery. A scullery, gas stoves and limited space in the communal freezer is available.
