The Kruger Park region has a subtropical climate with hot rainy summers and startling thunderstorms starting in October and ending around March. Traditionally, the best game viewing is in winter as the vegetation becomes sparse.
Game viewing at Kruger National Park is an unforgettable experience. A diversity of wildlife freely roam the bush, and can be spotted on game drives. Revel in the sightings of aardvark, zebra, baboons and baboon spiders on walking safaris, and be on the lookout for the bigger wildlife on thrilling game drives. Later in the afternoon nocturnal creatures come out to play.
