Kruger Park Safaris Bush Walks

If you’re seeking adventure in the bush or just want the experience of the Kruger National Park under your feet then taking a walk through the bush might be something to think about.

For the first time you will feel as if you are encroaching on the wildlife’s territory. Along with a very experienced and knowledgeable safari ranger you will be guided on a journey that will leave you speechless for a moment but talking about for years.

It is exhilarating to cross the plains with baboons, buck, giraffe and warthogs running in all directions kicking up dust while you are anxiously but excitedly looking out for bigger game. Although you walk in single file with guides carrying rifles walking in front and last in line for your protection, it is still a heart pumping experience when you come eye to eye with buffalo.

The sound and smells of the bush are highlighted on a walking safari because the adrenalin is pumping when you spot rhino or elephant and are looking out for a tree to climb if necessary. What an experience!

Bush walks are generally 3 to 4 hours long giving you ample time to gain a true walking safari experience while decreasing space in your photo gallery. The walks departs early morning as this is a prime time for wildlife viewing, after which you will return to your campsite to enjoy a buffet style brunch.
