    • Shishangeni Private Lodge is situated in a private concession in the Kruger National Park. This Kruger Park lodge is ideal for families, as it accommodates children of all ages. Families can be hosted in interleading family rooms at Shishangeni Lodge.

    Shishangeni Private Lodge's central facility consists of a spacious lounge, library, bar, swimming pool, as well as an indoor and outdoor dining area, wine cellar and gymnasium. This Kruger Park lodge also has conference facilities for small groups.

    Child Policy:
    Children of all ages are welcomed at Shishangeni Private Lodge and special kids’ programmes are available for the little ones. Please note that children under 6 years are not allowed on game drives and only children over 12 years are permitted on game walk.


    Accommodation:

    Shishangeni Private Lodge offers Kruger Park accommodation in 22 individual chalets, accommodating 44 guests. The chalets all have a private game-viewing deck as well as mini bar, fireplace, outdoor shower and sitting area.

    Families are catered for at Shishangeni Private Lodge with spacious inter-leading rooms. These family rooms are available upon request.

    Location:

    Shishangeni Private Lodge is situated on a private concession in the Kruger Park. This 15 000 ha concession’s borders are Mozambique in the east and the Crocodile River in the south.

    How to get there:

    Shishangeni Private Lodge is approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes from Johannesburg and one hour and 20 minutes from Maputo by road. Access the road through Kruger Park’s Crocodile Bridge Gate, from where it is approximately 14km to Shishangeni Lodge.

    Guests wishing to fly in can do so by flying into the following airports:

  • Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMI) - 110km from the lodge
  • Malelane Airport – 70km from the lodge
  • Maputo Airport (Mozambique) – 125km from the lodge


    • Activities:

    Other safari activities at Shishangeni include walking safaris and bird watching. For those who just want to relax, there is a library, lounge, bar and swimming pool at Shishangeni Private Lodge. The lodge also has a gymnasium and conference facilities.

    Shishangeni's air conditioned conference facilities caters for between 16 and 44 delegates. The conference room is 6m x8m and has dimmers, 4 power sockets, 1 screen and data projector, 2 whiteboards and 2 flipcharts . Stationary are provided to all conference delegates. Coffee and tea and a water station is provided.
