  • Imbali Safari Lodge boasts 12 luxury suites and is situated in a private concession in the Kruger National Park – the Mluwati concession. This safari lodge is intimate and has a romantic atmosphere, ideal for couples on their Honeymoon.

    The rooms at Imbali Safari Lodge have en-suite bathrooms with built-in showers, mosquito nets, antique baths, air-conditioner and ceiling fans. The lodge has a fully licensed bar and guests can enjoy tea and coffee in the lounge area at no additional charge.

    Child Policy:

    Children 8-12 years must be allocated a separate vehicle with their parents. Should another vehicle not be available, arrangements will be made to make up for the inconvenience. Children are catered for separately at dinner at Imbali Safari Lodge.

    Children will be charged the full adult rate and will be accommodated in their own rooms. Imbali Safari Lodge is unfenced and wildlife move freely throughout all 3 camps. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that children are accompanied at all times. Children under the age of 8 may only visit Imbali if one of the camps is booked for the exclusive use of a party.


    Accommodation:

    Imbali Safari Lodge in Kruger National Park offers 24 guests luxury safari lodging in 12 luxury chalets. The suites are beautifully appointed with only the finest furniture and imported linen. Spacious decks offer stunning salas and private plunge pools with views over the riverbed and onto the plains beyond.

    Each luxury suite at Imbali Safari Lodge has an en-suite bathroom with an antique bath. Each suite has a private verandah, timber walkways, private Jacuzzi, silver service and personalised cuisine. The rooms at Imbali Safari Lodge have either large king beds or twin rooms.

    Imbali Safari Lodge has an open lounge with a large fire place where guests can relax. The swimming pool of this Kruger Park lodge overlooks the Nwatswitswonto River. Magnificent cuisine is freshly prepared to your satisfaction by personal butlers.


    Location:

    Imbali Safari Lodge is situated near Hoedspruit in the Limpopo Province in the Kruger National Park, South Africa. It is only a 5 and a half-hour drive from Johannesburg, near Kruger Park’s Orpen Gate. Should you be travelling from Nelspruit it is a 2 and a half-hour drive from Kruger Gate.

    How to get there:

    Directions to the Kruger Gate: From Johannesberg / Gauteng: follow the N4 out to Nelspruit. From there take the R40, north to Hazyview. At Hazyview, get on to the R536 which leads directly to the Paul Kruger Gate, and on to Skukuza. Here you should secure a map of the Park’s internal road layout.

  • Activities:

    Imbali Safari Lodge offers morning and evening game drives. Other activities at Imbali Safari Lodge include bush walks with an experienced guide and bird watching in the hide overlooking the waterhole.

    In summer, morning drives depart at 05:30am and evening drives depart at 17:30pm. In winter morning drives depart at 06:00am and evening drives depart at 16:00pm. Morning game drives last about 3 hours and evening game drives last about 4 hours with a stop for sundowners (drinks).

    Other things to do include at Imbali Safari Lodge include video and slide presentations, traditional dancing, storytelling, special interest talks and even a canoe ride or a visit to the Sangoma (traditional healer).
