Jock Safari Lodge is a luxury lodge with a world-class spa and is situated in the Jock of the Bushveld Concession Area in the Kruger National Park. Jock Safari Lodge has exclusive traversing rights in this area which is regarded as one of the best for game viewing in the Kruger National Park.
The Pilgrims Rest Spa:
The Pilgrims Rest Spa at Jock Safari Lodge is fully equipped with therapy and relaxation rooms, hydrotherapy bath, steam room and sauna. Choose from a variety of treatments at the Pilgrims Rest Spa, done by highly qualified therapists. Treatments include Indonesian Spa Rituals and Facial Therapies. Guests may also choose to receive treatment in the privacy of their rooms.
Child Policy:
Children of all ages are welcome at Jock Safari Lodge, however, no children under the age of 6 are allowed on the game drives. Infants stay free of charge and children aged 4-11 will be charged 50% of the tariff if they share their parents’ suite. A maximum of one child per suite is allowed.

Accommodation:
Each room at Jock Safari Lodge has a private 'sala' (outdoor lounge) which overlooks the river. The romantic suites is equipped with King size beds surrounded by walk-in mosquito netting. The rooms also have a small lounge and twin basin bathroom.
The theme of this Kruger Park safari lodge is set by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick's animal classic 'Jock of the Bushveld,' a story written at the time of South Africa's first gold rush.

Location:
Jock Safari Lodge is situated in a private concession in the southern region of Kruger Park, at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers. It is also only midway between Skukuza and Malelane airports.
Jock Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park, South Africa is only approximately 458km (284.6 miles) from Johannesburg.
How to get there
Directions to Jock Safari Lodge: From Johannesburg you take the N12 to Witbank. This becomes the N4. Follow the N4 through Nelspruit and Malelane until you see the Malelane Gate, Kruger Park sign, where you turn left. Follow the Malelane Gate / Skukuza road. Jock Safari Lodge is signposted off this road.
Directions to Malelane Gate: From Johannesberg / Gauteng: follow the N4 out to Nelspruit. Continue through Nelspruit for approximately 60km, where you must turn left to the MALELANE GATE. From the gate, follow the H3 until you see the sign indicating Jock of The Bushveld Camp at the S116 turn off.

Activities:
Jock Safari Lodge is situated in one of the best game viewing areas of the Kruger National Park. This area is known especially for its Big Five - Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino – sightings. Guests can enjoy game drives in open Land Rovers with an armed, qualified ranger and an experienced tracker.
Off road driving from Jock Safari Lodge private concession roads is allowed where game viewing warrants it. Other things to do at Jock Safari Lodge include walking safaris, birding safaris and guided historical tours.
