Shimuwini is a Shangaan word that means 'Place of the Baobab'. This camp is so named because of the Letaba River that is lined with these majestic trees. Shimuwini offers Kruger Park accommodation in 15 cottages spread out along the Shimuwini Dam, each boasting its own barbecue (braai) facilities and solar panels for lights and fans only.
Activities at Shimuwini include game drives, night game drives, guided bush walks and bird watching from the bird hide. At this camp you are guaranteed amazing sightings of wildlife along the Shimuwini River.
