The single-roomed bungalows have 2 or 3 beds and a bathroom - most with showers and some with baths. Two of these 2-bedded huts have been adapted for use by visitors with mobility impairments. Satara's 10 guest cottages each sleep up to 6 people and these units have 2 en-suite double bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen and living area.
Satara Camp's 3 guesthouses, the 8-bedded Rudy Frankel guesthouse, 9-bedded Stanley guesthouse and 6-bedded Wells guesthouse offer more privacy and considerable comfort than the bungalow/hut accommodation.
Most of the bedrooms within these guesthouses have en-suite bathrooms and the kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering. The Rudy Frankel and Stanley guesthouses have verandahs that overlook a frequently visited waterhole.
For the budget-conscious traveller, the camping and caravanning facilities at this Kruger Park accommodation are spotlessly maintained. Each campsite is equipped with a powerpoint and a barrier-free toilet and shower facility has been installed for campers with mobility difficulties. Satara Camp also features a TV lounge, restaurant and grocery store that is well stocked for the self-caterers.
