At Tamboti Tented Camp guests sleep in safari tents on mounted stilts. These self-catering accommodation units are serviced daily. Each tent has electrical plug points, a small fridge and indoor as well as outdoor lighting. Two tents have been adapted for visitors with mobility difficulties.

Tamboti is one of Kruger Park's several tent/caravan camping sites overlooking the Timbavati River. The trees at Tamboti are unpalatable for most wildlife species as the leaves have a high concentration of tannin. Only Kudu and Black Rhino have a special affinity for these leaves. Porcupine feed on the bark of Tamboti trees.
