How to get there
Directions from Johannesburg/Pretoria
Take the N1 to Polokwane. At the Makhado, link up with the R524 and follow this route for approximately 140 kilometres (87 miles), and it will take you to the gate. Please allow about 4-5 hours for this trip.
Punda Maria Camp is situated 8 kilometres (5 miles) from the gate, approximately a 20 minute drive. if you want to enjoy the game viewing possibilities, allow more time for this drive.
