Crocodile Bridge Restcamp Safari

Activities

Game drives, including morning, sunset and night drives, and bush walks are always conducted in special safari vehicles accompanied by qualified and experienced safari guides. Guests can also visit the Gezantfombi Dam, Nhlanganzwani Dam or participate in an excursion to a Hippo Pool with Bushman Rock Art.

Game

Crocodile Bridge Restcamp is situated in a great game-viewing area and is therefore ideal to spot the Big Five. Both Rhino species, the White and the Black Rhino are frequently seen on game drives. Hyena patrol the camp's fence every night while Leopard, Lion and Cheetah are regularly recorded. Other species such as Giraffe, Zebra and various Antelope species are usually seen within a few hundred metres of the gate.

Birding

The area around Crocodile Bridge Restcamp is perhaps the only reliable place in Kruger National Park to see the Yellow-rumped Tinkerbird (Golden-rumped Tinker Barbet). Blackbellied Starlings and the Pink-throated Twinspot have also been recorded in this area as well. Waterbirds can be spotted on the riverside while the camp itself offers a busy stream of bird activity. A local bird specialist accompanies bird enthusiasts on guided walks.
