Accommodation

Bungalows

The bungalows consist of one room with a separate en-suite bathroom, and 2 to 3 single beds. There is a clothes cupboard and table with chairs. Some of the units have fully equipped kitchenettes, while others share communal kitchen facilities.

Guest Houses

J Le Roux Guesthouse has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms to sleep a total of 6 guests. One bedroom has a bathroom (bath, toilet and basin and the second bathroom (bath and basin) has a separate toilet and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking purposes. There is a parking space and braai (barbecue) facilities.

Rhino Guesthouse has 4 air-conditioned bedrooms which can sleep 8 persons. Two bedrooms include an en-suite bathroom and a third bathroom with a bath and basin. The open-plan kitchen is perfectly set-up for cooking. All of this is complemented by a parking space and braai (barbecue) facilities.

Family Cottages

Family Cottages feature 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and the other bedroom with 2 single beds. There is a bathroom with all needed facilities. The cottage has an open-plan kitchen and a lounge with 2 bench-beds. There are 2 units which are accessible to wheelchairs.

Camping Sites

Each camping site accommodates a maximum of 6 persons, with a caravan, a side tent and one vehicle. Alternatively visitors can bring a tent and one vehicle, or one autovilla, or one motorised caravan. If visitors are using a small tent, more than one tent will be permitted, provided that there are only 6 persons. There is an extra charge for additional vehicles.

Most campsites have power points and generators. Generators can only be used between from one hour after sunrise and one hour before sunrise. While ground sheets can be used, guests need to make arrangements with the reception office where lawns have been planted. Visitors have access to the communal kitchen and ablution facilities.

Disabled-friendly Accommodation

Berg-en-Dal Restcamp in Kruger National Park, South Africa, offers wheelchair-friendly accommodation in two family cottages and one River Unit. Facilities include a roll-in shower. Adequate bathroom space is available.
