Berg-en-Dal located in Kruger Park, is lucky to have scenery which includes stunning mountain terrain and the southern botanical biome. Summer months are hot with the odd quick summer storms, while the winters are warm and mild. The Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is just 25km (15.53 miles) from Nelspruit, half an hour's drive from the Melalane Gate, and a 5 hour drive from Johannesburg.
How to get there
From Johannesburg/Pretoria
Malelane Gate
Take the N4 to Nelspruit, head through Nelspriut to Malelane. Then turn left at Kruger National Park sign just outside Malelane and head to gate. Allow between 4 to 5 hours for the trip to the gate. Berg-en-Dal Main Rest Camp is a short distance away from the gate.
